A man named Pain. Building something called Painless.
Hybrid Performance Coach. Endurance Athlete. Mountain Athlete. Strength & Conditioning Coach. Father.
The background.
Consulted for Tyson Fury during the Wilder camp that became one of the most iconic heavyweight fights in modern boxing. Coached Billy Joe Saunders to two world titles. Built Omnia Performance — the programming systems and methodology are still running today.
Wrote and taught university-level Strength & Conditioning curriculum while completing a degree in Performance Nutrition. Consulted into some of the largest fitness organisations in the world. Set world records. Completed endurance projects that pushed far beyond what I thought was possible.
That's the highlight reel.
But the older I get, the less interested I am in pretending achievements alone mean anything.
Because alongside all of it: burnout, collapse, addiction recovery, injury, loss, and having to rebuild from the ground up - more than once.
The coaching I offer now is built on both sides of that. High performance and hard consequence. Not theory alone.
The crash.
Behind all of it was something most performance practitioners won't admit to. Decades of relentless output had a cost. Chronic fatigue. Inflammation. Brain fog. Hormonal dysfunction. Emotional volatility. A growing disconnect between what I projected outward and what was actually happening inside.
It wasn't one injury or one failure. It was the cumulative consequence of decades of pushing. Through stress, through overcommitment, through unresolved pressure, through tying self-worth to usefulness and endurance.
The system collapsed. Not dramatically. Slowly, then all at once.
The rebuild.
I could have hidden it. A lot of coaches do.
Instead the rebuild became the work. Learning to train without destroying. Recovering identity outside constant achievement. Understanding the nervous system not as something to override but something to work with. Rebuilding health without abandoning ambition. Becoming a better father, coach, and operator in the process.
That process - the crash, the rebuild, the earned perspective - is what I bring to every client I work with.
